| | Description: The exoticism of Balinese dancers returns to the catalogue thanks to the Re-Deco collection. Each movement in Balinese dances is significant and responds to this cultures vision of life. For this reason the Lladr artists made an exhaustive prior anatomical study for these pieces. Turning our attention to the clothing, in keeping with Balinese tradition, the fabrics for ceremonies and special occasions contain precious metals. As a result, the platinum luster used in the decoration lends them a ceremonial air. Young women wear a kamen or traditional fabric which wraps around their waists and falls to their ankles. Their beautiful hairdos are topped with a turban in which flowers play a special role, particularly in "Bali dancer kneeling". They also wear bright colorful jewels including bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. An original porcelain base acts as a stage for these beautiful delicate dancers. | |
